The Salton Sea Repository DSC_0014located at the Palm Desert Campus has been created with documents and data gathered from the Salton Sea Authority, from local water agencies and from the Joseph Andrew Rowe Water Resource Archives, including a large selection from the William Claypool Collection.  The focus of the repository is the Salton Sea watershed, but also includes materials of interest for the history and development of the region, including the Coachella Valley, and the Lower Colorado Watershed.

The Salton Sea Repository also includes general history of the Salton Sea region, Director Reports, published reports, government reports, Salton Sea Authority meeting minutes, environmental impact statements, air quality reports, maps, drawings, and photos. The Salton Sea Repository is interested in expanding our collection to create a fully accessible library of materials for this unique region to facilitate solutions to regional issues.
